Depending on the features you use, Caloria may collect or process:

• Food logs, meal names, nutrition estimates, calories, macros, water intake, notes, and timestamps.
• Photos you choose to submit for food recognition and calorie estimation.
• Voice or text input you choose to submit for food logging or AI chat features.
• Chat messages and AI responses used to provide the Cali nutrition coach experience.
• Optional Google Health Connect data, such as steps, weight, and exercise data, if you grant permission.
• Device, app, diagnostics, crash, performance, and usage data used to keep the app secure and reliable.

How Information Is Used

We use information to provide and improve Caloria, including meal logging, nutrition estimates, macro and water tracking, AI coaching, Health Connect sync, account security, troubleshooting, analytics, customer support, and product reliability.

How Information Is Shared

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data. We may share data with service providers that help operate Caloria, such as cloud hosting, database, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and AI processing providers. These providers process data only to support app functionality, security, reliability, and support. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users, the public, or our service.

Health Connect

If you connect Google Health Connect, Caloria only requests data needed for features you enable. Health Connect data is used only to show relevant health and nutrition context in the app. You can review or revoke Health Connect permissions from Android settings at any time.

Photos And AI Processing

Photos and text you submit may be processed to estimate foods, portions, calories, macros, and nutrition guidance. Avoid submitting sensitive content unrelated to nutrition tracking.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for personal and sensitive user data, including HTTPS for data transmission and access controls for production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect user data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Retention And Deletion

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide Caloria, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at https://caloria.food/delete-account or by emailing support@caloria.food. Some limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate business records.

Children

You can control app permissions in Android settings, revoke Health Connect access, stop submitting photos or chat messages, and request deletion of your account and data.
